World Championship of Online Poker – Logo – WCOOP In less than 12 hours (6 hours, 36 minutes, 33 seconds to be exact), the 2010 WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker) will get underway on Pokerstars.

This is poised to be the biggest WCOOP ever, as Pokerstars is guaranteeing $50,000,000 in total prize money. Last year’s total prize pool came in at a little over $51.6 million (after the site guaranteed $40 million in prize money), and this year should be even bigger.

There are a total of 62 WCOOP events this year, with the first three taking place on Sunday, September 5th. They are:

Event #1 – 13:00, $215 NLHE 6-Max, $1,250,000 Guaranteed
Event #2 – 15:00, $10,300 NLHE High Roller, $2,000,000 Guaranteed
Event #3 – 17:00, $215 NLHE, $2,000,000 Guaranteed
