The World Poker Tour Bellagio Cup VI final table has been set. The $10,000 event kicked off on Sunday with 243 entrants but by Tuesday the field had expanded to 353 players. While most who enter the action on Day 3 did not survive the day one very decorated poker pro worked his way to the top of the pack and secured himself a place in the final. Record-setting World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Phil Ivey will be one of the short stacks going into today’s match but if the past is any indication there is a very good chance he could win it all. This final table marks Ivey’s ninth appearance before the WPT cameras (the most of any player in the tour’s history) and it will serve as his first cash on the tour this year. Joining Ivey will be chip leader John Caridad, Justin Smith, Moritz Kranich, Eric Afriat, and Rob Akery. Caridad currently holds a massive lead over the rest of the playing field. He has nearly twice as many chips as his next closest competitor and could easily play it safe for much of tomorrow and still make it into the Heads Up round. Here’s a look at the final table and their chip counts going into the final day of play: Seat 1: Phil Ivey – 1,595,000 Related Posts
